President
David is the
President and the shareholder responsible for Estate
Planning and Personal Financial Planning Practice. He
studied at James
Madison University where he earned a B.S. in Accounting
with high honors.
As the firm's specialist in estate and trust matters
and personal financial planning, his knowledge also
includes the accounting, auditing, and taxation of
construction companies, non-profit organizations,
manufacturers, and franchise operations. David is also
experienced in all aspects of federal and state income
taxes.
David has taught accounting courses for the Roanoke
City Schools and lectured to various civic groups. He is
an active member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA).
He has held positions as the vice president and as a board
member for VSCPA as well as serving as president, vice
president, and secretary-treasurer for the Roanoke Area
Chapter of VSCPA.
David is a former member of the Salem Lions Club and
has been the president, vice president, and treasurer. He
has been involved with Roanoke's Festival in the Park as
both treasurer and board member.
